10Kg Whole Striploin

Extremely disappointing

The item received bore no resemblance to that advertised. It was extremely sloppy and contained a lot of sinew. Upon questioning the order with Mr Bennett I was dismissed and spoken to rudely. He offered a £10 refund which I have yet to receive.

5kg of sirloin beef

Well I am so disappointed I bought 2 x 5kg of sirloin beef and cut it the way as suggested and the first piece I was going to cook for Sunday dinner had oxidised in 36hrs and so had to throw away I then got 3 steaks out which I had frozen for a special meal the steaks where cooked medium rare looked ok and then when cut looked and tasted nothing like a sirloin steak which again was so surprising so again I had to through them the texture was like a roasting joint so the rest I have left has now gone in the bin how people get away with selling this meat is beyond me after watching the videos I beleived this was a genuine butcher sorry bennetts but I have wasted a £100 of my hard earned money and would strong advise future customers to pay the extra and buy from your local butcher

What can I say. I have purchased many things from Bennetts Butchers now but it is the first time that I bought a whole Sirloin but definitely won't be the last. I cut it into joints and have cooked two of them up to now and the meat is so tender and the taste was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend it highly enough
